General Transfer Student Requirements

• 你需要一个2.5 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) for all previous college work.
• If you have fewer than 30 semester college credit hours, we’ll also use your high school information in making admission decisions.
• You must also be in good academic 和 social st和ing at the last institution you attended.

Special Requirements for 转学 in 音乐 or 护理

• 音乐 — in most cases, music students must also complete an audition. 
• 护理 — nursing students are considered on a space-available basis but must have a minimum 3.0 cumulative grade point average 和 a 2.75 cumulative science grade point average.

We accept students from all over the world to study at 资本. To apply to join our community, please follow these steps:

   Check your application status page to see the exact requirements for you. 
   • You must have official transcripts sent to 威尼斯人平台 directly from all U.S. 你上过的大学. Transcripts 和 test scores uploaded by you will be considered unofficial. 
   • If you have completed university courses in any country other than the U.S., you must have a coursework evaluation done by 韦斯, ECE, or SpanTran. More information is available on each company’s website. 
     • SpanTran 创造了一个 custom application for 威尼斯人平台 students that will make sure you select the right kind of evaluation at a discounted rate ($170 for the evaluation).
   • If you have completed fewer than 30 credit hours at the university level, we will also need to review your high school transcript.

3. Receive your admission decision 和 奖学金提供. We review your application as soon as all required materials are received, so apply 和 submit your documents early! 

Once you're accepted, we will review the official college transcripts for course equivalency. 

• A faculty advisor will determine how the courses apply to the degree, so you should contact the 入学 office to schedule a meeting with a faculty advisor to find out how your major classes transfer 和 how long it will take to complete your degree.

注意: Undergraduate students are required to live on-campus unless you are over the age of 22 or have a family member within 30 miles of 资本 with whom you can live for your entire period of study. Learn more about housing at 资本.
